The name Novatarraco comes from the ancient city of Tarraco, one of the most important cities of the Roman Empire, renowned for its extraordinary architecture and the foundation of modern-day Tarragona. Many of the buildings and monuments built during that era are now World Heritage Sites, having withstood centuries and remaining preserved to this day.
